# Governance

Our [Snapshot page](https://snapshot.org/#/unipilot.eth) is decentralized, allowing anyone with at least 4,000 PILOT to make a proposal. To make a proposal, please follow the guidance below.

1. Discuss your topic in the [Unipilot Telegram](http://t.me/unipilot_io) first to garner a range of opinions and feedback, including from admins, before making the proposal. Share a draft of the proposal with admins before posting to Snapshot.
2. Publish a Snapshot vote on the [Snapshot page](https://snapshot.org/#/unipilot.eth). This requires you to own at least 4,000 $PILOT (staked $PILOT counts too). The vote must run for 3-5 days and the link must be shared with admins and in the Unipilot Telegram to be valid. This is to avoid bad proposals being sneaked in through the backdoor.
3. The Snapshot vote will be deemed valid if at least 65,000 $PILOT participates.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://unipilot.gitbook.io/unipilot-v2/community/governance.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
